You can expect same quality and page yield with your first refill! This refill kit will not fix a defective cartridge. If your current cartridge has dots, spots, lines or other defects on the printout, your cartridge is broken or defective and our toner refill kits will not repair your cartridge. In this case you need a replacement cartridge.

IMPORTANT: Starter cartridges for C3000 / C5000 / C9000 series printers (except for OKI C5100) can not be successfully refilled due to a printer reset issue. All replacement cartridges for all OKI C3000 / C5000 / C9000 series printers can be successfully refilled. "Starter cartridges" refer to the cartridges that come with the printer when you first purchase the printer, and "replacement" cartridges are the ones that you buy loose from printer supply stores. If you have a "starter" cartridge and your printer is not the C5100 or C7100 series, it is recommended that you buy a new replacement cartridge first (OEM from Okidata, or a compatible cartridge from us), and do your refills on those. We carry new replacement cartridges we well.

IMPORTANT: Some cartridges require replacement chip:

• Okidata C3400n / C3520 / C3530 / C3530n: have chips which will prevent the printer from recognizing the refilled cartridge. We now carry Okidata C3400 replacement chips which will allow you to overcome this problem, the chips are sold separately.
• Okidata C5500 / C5800: have chips which will prevent the printer from recognizing the refilled cartridge. We now carry Okidata C5500 / C5800 replacement chips which will allow you to overcome this problem, the chips are sold separately. Also you can successfully refill the cartridges and overcome this issue if you refill before the printer reaches toner low, and the chip switches it all off. Alternatively, if the switch locks you out and you did not refill in time, you can put the printer into 'Factory Mode' (as per Okidata manual) although the toner usage is different to normal printing using this method.
• Okidata C6000, C6100: have chips which will prevent the printer from recognizing the refilled cartridge. We now carry Okidata C6000 replacement chips and Okidata C6100 replacement chips which will allow you to overcome this problem, the chips are sold separately.
• Okidata C8600, C8800: have chips which will prevent the printer from recognizing the refilled cartridge. We now carry Okidata C8600 / C8800 replacement chips which will allow you to overcome this problem, the chips are sold separately.
• Okidata C9600, C9800: have chips which will prevent the printer from recognizing the refilled cartridge. We now carry Okidata C9600 / C9800 replacement chips which will allow you to overcome this problem, the chips are sold separately.
• Okidata CX2032: have chips which will prevent the printer from recognizing the refilled cartridge. We now carry Okidata CX2032 replacement chips which will allow you to overcome this problem, the chips are sold separately.
• Xerox 7400: have chips which will prevent the printer from recognizing the refilled cartridge. We now carry Xerox 7400 replacement chips which will allow you to overcome this problem, the chips are sold separately.
